THE THINKING SERIES “Asking Life’s Five Biggest Questions” at Perk’s Coffeehouse, Stony Plain Tuesday nights until Nov. 27 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Enjoy complimentary medium coffee or 50% off lattes. Discussion on Nov. 6 will be “Does God Exist?”

Youth Sunday Message Series: Grades 7-12 students, please join us during the 11:15 am service for “Questions through Genesis”. Youth will be dismissed to the Fireside Room after Worship in the Sanctuary. There will be no Youth session on Nov. 11.

Refugee Sponsorship Info Night Want to learn what sponsorship could like at SGAC? Join us November 6 at 7:15 pm in the Fireside Room. DEEP DISH attendees are encouraged to attend. Please Note: There will be no regular Deep Dish meeting this month.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD shoeboxes will be collected November 11. This may be the only gift a child receives this Christmas. Brochures and boxes are at the Welcome Centre

School Fall Break is Nov. 12 - 14 Therefore there is no Women’s Daybreak or Youth Bible Study on Nov. 13. There is no Monday Night Men on Nov. 12. 

Hands and Feet of Christ - Partner with us as we feed the homeless in downtown Edmonton on the second Sunday of every month. We will happily accept donations of food, socks, mitts, toques, shoes. Contact Natalie  or the church office for more details. A huge thank you to everyone for your generous donations. Your donations have brought smiles and warmth to so many people.

SGAC’s Christmas Banquet and the “Retelling of the Christmas Carol” presented by Deanna Storfie from Acting up Drama in Lethbridge. Friday, December 7 at 6:00 pm. Cost is $25/ person. Tickets are available at the Welcome Centre after service this Sunday or by contacting the church office. 

SGAC HOUSE OF PRAYER Nov. 18 at 6:00 pm. Join us for a night of unbroken modern worship, praise and prayer. Come and spend time in an atmosphere of scripture-based worship and prayer over our church and community.

Deeper Life School of Theology’s November 15-17 course is “The Book of Daniel” Come and study the life, times, trials and character of Daniel. He is a type of the overcomer shining in the darkness of apostasy. See how the prophecies and visions in this book link to other biblical writing. Contact Pastor Coreen to register.
