12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle,[a] encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. 15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies, 21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.

Jesus made this absolutely plain. The chief characteristic of Christian leaders, he insisted, is humility not authority, and gentleness not power.

LOVING TANGIBLY Join us on Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 pm in the Oasis Room as we prepare to give small gifts of care to our community. We will be making special gifts to take and give to people in our surrounding community...just because!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Show up at 6:30, (individuals, couples or families).
- Bring along a $5 coffee gift card (or 2 or 3). We will have supplies here to create a valentine to hold the gift card.
- Once you are done, you will take the gifts you’ve prepared and hand them out on Valentines Day in the community
