Wrapping Things Up
2 Corinthians 13

SERMON NOTES

“To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the
inexcusable in you.”
- C.S. Lewis
“Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the
temperature of the heart.”
- Corrie ten Boom

  • What does Paul mean when he says “ Your restoration is what we pray for.”
(vs9)? What exactly is Paul praying for? What is the measure of success? Why
    is restoration so important?
  • “Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with
one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”
(vs 11). How can we apply these simple truths? What is forgiveness? What is
    reconciliation?

    Scriptures to Consider

    • Matthew 6:14,15
    • Ephesians 4:31,32

SINGIN’ THE GOSPEL July 16 at 6:00 pm. The Pilkey Sisters, from Abbotsford, BC, have been singing Gospel Music since the tender age of 5. These three young women bring to their audiences a unique blend of “family harmony” with a tightly-knit sound. A freewill offering will be taken.

GYM RENOVATIONS - In January of last year we completed replacement of the Sanctuary, Gymnasium and Foyer roof, which had begun to fail. One of the results of that failure was damage to the ceilings, in particular the one in the gymnasium. The activities in the gym have resulted in continued deterioration of that ceiling to the point where repairs are required. On July 3 the ceiling in the gymnasium will be removed. This work will take approximately two weeks and during that time the gym will be inaccessible to us for use. For more information, click here!
