Engaged in the Five Fold Ministry

Ephesians 4:11-18

11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

SERMON NOTES

"The Great Commission says to make disciples, not get followers. There is a difference.”

― Miguel Nunez

  •  What is the fivefold ministry according to Ephesians 4 and why is it so important?
  •  Who do you know that fits these positions? From your experience how does the fivefold ministry operate?
  •  Who has helped equip you to do the work of ministry? What is your responsibility in being equipped?

Scriptures to Consider

  • 1 Corinthians 12-14
  • Romans 12
  • 1 Timothy 4:14
