JOURNEY UPDATES
PASTORAL DEVOTIONS TO THE CONGREGATION: Join us online Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for a devotional message from one of our Pastors. We will air these messages on our YouTube Channel at 8:00 am. (Don’t worry, if you miss it, you can watch it later.)
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES: Grades 1 – 6, join us for Sunday School as we move toward the second phase of our re-launch in compliance with the guidelines for children. If you are able please pre-register between Wednesday morning and Saturday evening on the website or by calling the office.
YOUTH FRIDAY NIGHT EVENT Oct. 2 at 7:30 pm There will be two acreage events happening. Jr High bonfire and Sr. High bonfire. Check our Facebook Page for more details when they become available.
AWANA: Awana begins Wednesday, October 7. The options are: Kids ages 3 to grade 12 can join us onsite, be parent-led from home, or a combination of the two. Register here. Deadline to register is Monday Sept. 28. Contact the church office or visit SGAC Kids Facebook page for more information.
AWANA: We are still looking for leaders. Our 4:00 pm program is very full with children and we need to top that up with leaders (16 yrs and older). Come and build relationships with the children while they learn to love and follow Jesus. Contact the church office if you can help or for more information.
KEENAGERS (55+): We are now meeting online to study “The Story of a King”. Join us on Wednesdays at 10:00 am on Pastor Art’s personal Facebook page or at 1:00 pm on our Keenagers Facebook Group as we stay connected through the Word of God.
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES FALL STUDY: Hagar, Rediscovering the God Who Sees Me by Shadia Hrichi. Daybreak starts Oct. 6 and Evening Edition begins October 8. September 27 is the last day for Daybreak early bird rates. Register now. There are both in-person and online options. Limited space for childcare in Daybreak. COUNTDOWN TO GIVING SUNDAY –OCTOBER 11 We are now less than $350,000 away from our goal of raising $4 million in cash and pledges for our new Christian Education Centre. In 2 weeks we will have a special offering for our Future Development Fund. Consider how you might partner with us in building a spiritual home for the people of Spruce Grove & Parkland County. SHARING HOPE IN CRISIS – Saturday Oct 17: This is a one day seminar presented by the Billy Graham Association of Canada. It is a free event open to anyone in our community, but registration is required. It is suitable for everyone in the local church and is also ideal for counselors, church leaders & those who encounter suffering people on a regular basis. Registration deadline is October 12. ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church. This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards.
PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours.
INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter.
E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using www.sgac/Give . Please include your offering envelope number and contact information. The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question. Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section.
IN PERSON
During office hours, you can stop by the church office and drop off your donation in a sealed envelope. Mark it Finance / Confidential
