What is Special About the Church?

 Introduction

Matthew:16:18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

Philippians 3:14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

So, what is so special about being a part of the church?

On Sunday we will be looking at Ephesians 2:19 - 23 and considering the three metaphors that are used to describe the church:

  1. We are citizens along with all God's holy people
  2. We are a part of God’s family and
  3. We are being built together into a temple where God dwells

I am looking forward to Sunday morning and connecting with you online and in person.
