THE PRESENCE, POWER AND PURPOSE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

This Sunday we will continue our series, “Come Holy Spirit” focusing on His Presence, Power and Purpose. Last week we looked at His sanctifying work in our lives that prepares us to be a “Kingdom/Nation of priests. We will be looking at how He partners with us in the mission that we are called to engage. Key verses for you to consider are: Acts 1:8; 10:38 and Hebrews 2:4.

E- TRANSFER UPDATE : Our E-Transfer address has changed. Please direct all E-Transfers to give@sgac.net

WORSHIP SERVICE   Please pre-register starting Wednesday for either the 9:15 am or 11:15 am service. Discovery Island will be available for age 3 to grade 6. KEENAGERS    Anyone 55+ is welcome to join us every Wednesday morning at 9:45 am in the Sanctuary or you have the option to join via Zoom.   Join Pastor Joel for a time of teaching in the Book of Daniel, prayer & fellowship.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP DISCUSSION: Have you been wondering what all the talk is about around our church's policies regarding women in ministry and leadership roles and the potential changes to those policies?  
The Women in Leadership Planning team invites you to an evening of teaching and discussion on the Biblical basis behind both the current policies and potential changes to them. This will be on Wednesday, MAY 5 at 7:30 pm.  This event will also be available digitally through YouTube and available on the website for those who are more comfortable attending from home. Brent Trask, District Superintendent of the Western Canadian District of the C&MA will be joining us.

Are you or someone you know in need of a meal? Grace's Table would love to help you out. Meal pick-up is Friday, May 7 between 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm at Spruce Grove Alliance Church. 250 Century Road. For more information call the office at 780-962-4700 or email Kim.   Meals must be pre-registered by clicking here or calling the office 780-962-4700. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to noon 1pm to 4pm. Office is closed Tuesdays from noon to 2:30 pm for staff meeting. Deadline to register is Monday May 3 at noon.

Please note the following options for giving: 

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can  give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church.  This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards. 

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours. 

INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter. 

E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using www.sgac/Give.  Please include your offering envelope number and contact information.   The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question.  Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section. 

IN PERSON
During office hours, you can stop by the church office and drop off your donation in a sealed envelope.  Mark it Finance / Confidential
