THE SNOW DAYS   RESTORATION, RENEWAL, REVIVAL, REDEEMED

Key Scripture

  • Isaiah 55 – The Invitation to the Thirsty

Helpful Contextual Scripture

  • Isaiah 1:18 -20 – We have disobeyed and have blood on our hands, but God comes to take our sins and make them as white as snow
  • Isaiah 52:1-3 – Awake, awake Zion…free yourself from the chains on your neck… “you were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed”
  • Isaiah 53 – One has come to justify the many, and wipe all our sins as white as snow
  • Isaiah 54 – Come to the Lord, as He will rebuild you. He calls you back from the desert, to lift you up, and give you his protection and peace.

 Questions

  • How have we disobeyed God? Where did we run to, what have we hung on to?
  • Do you want to be revived, renewed? Do you want to be redeemed from darkness and despair, do you want to be restored?
  • Are we thirsty? Do we long to come to the water of God, and to be transformed daily and made more into God’s Image and likeness every day?
  • Do we devote ourselves to the Lord after we choose to follow Him and are saved?
  • Do your actions speak and show you follow Jesus? Or does pain, envy, strife, malice, deceit, cruelty, anger, hatred, selfishness, laziness, sexual immorality permeate your daily life and interactions?
  • Are we renewed day by day by the Holy Spirits activity within our hearts, minds, souls, and lives?
  • Are you thirsty? Are we thirsty? Do we long and desire to be restored, redeemed, renewed, and revived?

Today Lets all decide to follow Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. May we be a church that shows the great love of Jesus, that when people watch us or hear our name, that they would see the great Love and Grace of Jesus and nothing else! May evil flee from our presence as we focus our lives on Jesus and aim to be transformed every day, more and more!
