CHRISTIANS IN A POST-CHRISTIAN SOCIETY

 When Is Boasting OK?

Most of us have “dropped names” into conversations to add credibility to our story or ourselves. A sly way of boasting about who we know or associate with. But our relationship with Jesus Christ becomes the great equalizer … Jeremiah 9:24 directs us to boast in the fact that “we know God himself”. On Sunday we will be looking at James 1:9, 10 to start this conversation, when is boasting OK? Also read 2 Corinthians 2:14 - 17.
