DEVOTED TO JESUS
The Vision Prayer of the C&MA Canada is: “O God, with all our hearts, we long for You. Come, transform us to be Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused people, multiplying disciples everywhere.”
SGAC Vision aligns with the C&MA prayer and expresses the intent “to be mature disciples of Jesus”. Oswald Chambers talked about being “devoted to Jesus”. As a Christ-centered church and denomination, what does it mean to be devoted to Jesus? Devoted is defined as loving and loyal. I John 3:16 says, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. In John 21:17 Jesus asked “... do you love me? … (then) feed my sheep.” When we are devoted to Jesus, caring for one another is not optional.

COMMUNION SUNDAY Today we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you are watching from home – have your bread and juice prepared so we can partake together.
LOVE OFFERING FOR A & J – Our international workers A&J are coming home in July for their daughter’s wedding & we are partnering with Southgate Alliance to surprise them by covering their travel costs. We are accepting cash donations in a box at the Welcome Centre. These cash gifts are not receiptable. This is the last Sunday for this opportunity to give to A & J. For more information contact Pastor Joel.
SUMMER SERVICES Starting July 3 to August 28 we will hold one service only at 10:00 am. Children will join their parents in the service July 3 - 17. Children’s Ministries summer programming will resume July 24.

MENS’ FLOOR HOCKEY – Thursdays at 7:00 pm We are excited to be offering men’s floor hockey again on Thursday nights. Come for a game or two & a short devotional. We hope you’ll join us!
JULY 1 CANADA DAY HOLIDAY The church will be closed Friday July 1. We will resume regular office hours on Monday July 4.
VBS All kids age 4 to going into grade 7 are invited to join us for Monumental where we will celebrate God’s greatness. Early bird cost is $35 per child or $100 for 3 or more children of the same household until July 17. July 18 to July 31 cost is $50 per child or $140 for 3 or more children of the same household. We need YOU for VBS! We are looking for a minimum of 22 adults to be crew leaders, a minimum of 24 adults or teens to be crew helpers, nursery workers, decorators, greeters, kitchen help, prayer warriors and more! VBS will run from August 8 to 12 in the mornings If you would like to help in any of these ways --- please connect with a Children’s Ministry staff member or email Debbie. PARK PLAY DAYS – Wednesday Mornings from 9 to 11: For the months of June & July -- enjoy connecting with other parents while your children play together at a different playground each week. YOUTH: New grade 7s to current grads are invited to a Beach Day Saturday, July 9 at 10 am. Go to the Events Calendar for a list of what to bring, including $2 for the bus. If you have not filled out the Youth Information form 2021/2022 it is required for this event.

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church. This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards.
PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours.
INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter.
E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using www.sgac/Give. Please include your offering envelope number and contact information. The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question. Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section.
IN PERSON
