COMMUNION SUNDAY  Today we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you are watching from home – have your bread and juice prepared so we can partake together.

YOUTH PARENTS MEETING: Sunday, January 9 at 1:30 pm. Join us for an online meeting and find out what exciting things Pastor Josh has planned for the youth in 2022. The Zoom link for the meeting can be found on the Events Calendar on the website. The Youth and Young Adults page on the website will also be updated with more information and events happening this year.

GRACE’S TABLE   January 14.  We all go through tough times.  If a meal would be helpful for you or someone you know, Grace’s Table would love to help out.   Meal pick-up is Friday January 14 from 5 – 6:30pm at SGAC.  Click here to register or call the office 780-962-4700.  Registration deadline is Monday January 10.

FAITH ON FIRE  Sunday January 16 at 6:00 pm.  Join us as we have an evening of worshiping our King.

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, January 30 at 2:00 pm Semi-Annual Congregational Meeting. Everyone is encouraged to join us for an update on the status of the transition work, the anticipated Pastoral Selection Process and of course the vote on the issue of Women as Elders, among other business.

WOMEN’S DAYBREAK – Small Groups:  Choose from one of three in-person studies being offered on Tuesday mornings starting January 25 – “The Blue Parakeet” (a book study facilitated by Marlyse Trufyn);  “The Book of Hebrews” (a Right Now Media study facilitated by Pastor Karen) OR “The Jesus I Don’t Get” (facilitated by Pastor Steve).  Click here for more details on these studies and to register.  Note that registration is limited to 15 people per study.  Childcare is available with pre-registration.  Early bird deadline is January 16. 

WOMEN’S EVENING EDITION:  Join Lois Halterman on Thursday evenings starting January 27 as she facilitates an 8 week Right Now Media study on The Book of Hebrews by Derwin Gray.  Cost is $5 and homework is minimal.  Click here for study details and to register.

STUDYING THE SCRIPTURES – Women as Elders: The Women in Leadership Team is providing one more opportunity before the Semi-Annual Meeting to look at scriptures related to this important topic on Sunday, January 23 at 6:30 pm.  Call the church office to register.

MONDAY NIGHT MEN STUDY – A Man & His Fatherhood:  Have you made a new year’s resolution to be a better dad in 2022?  Join Pastor Joel as he facilitates this six-week video course full of practical insights, biblical wisdom & helpful resources, preparing dads to launch healthy sons & daughters into the world.  Starts January 17 at 7:00 pm – Click here to register.

Due to illness of leaders Tuesday Youth Bible Study Launch has been moved back to January 25.  Also AWANA will not begin until January 19.

Please note the following options for giving: 

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can  give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church.  This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards. 

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours. 

INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter. 

E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using www.sgac/Give.  Please include your offering envelope number and contact information.   The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question.  Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section. 

IN PERSON
During office hours, you can stop by the church office and drop off your donation in a sealed envelope.  Mark it Finance / Confidential

  • Our Support Staff Team Member: Joanne Fehr.  Joanne is married to Bruce and they have two adult children.
