 COMMUNION SUNDAY  Today we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you are watching from home – have your bread and juice prepared so we can partake together.  

ARE YOU NEW TO SGAC? We want to help you get connected.  Fill out a connection card and stop by the Welcome Centre so we can meet you & give you a small gift to say thanks for joining us.  We hope SGAC will soon start to feel like home! 

SUMMER SERVICES - Until August 28, we will hold one service only, Sundays at 10:00 am.  Children’s Ministries summer programming for Nursery to finished Grace 6 is available. 

SGAC MEMBERSHIP INFO MEETING – Sunday, August 28 @ 11:30 am: Join Pastor Karen in the Fireside Room after the service next Sunday to learn more about membership at SGAC.  For more information contact Pastor Karen. 

SEPTEMBER 4  we are back to two services 9:15 and 11:15am.  There will be a summer Wrap up for the children in Sunday School and the fall program for Sunday School begins on Sept. 11. 

YOUNG ADULTS Outdoor Movie Night, Wednesday, August 24 at 7:30 pm at the Breitkreuz’s. Contact Pastor Josh for more information. 

YOUTH PARENT’S MEETING: NEW DATE & TIME! The fall is coming and so are our Tuesday evening Bible Studies and Friday night events. Join Pastor Josh to hear what he has for your youth this fall. Sunday, September 11 at 1:30 pm in the Fireside Room.  

AGM 2022: Sunday, September 18 at 2 pm. This meeting is open to everyone who attends SGAC but only members are able to vote.  There will be an online option for those unable to attend in person.  Watch for a Zoom link in the coming weeks.  The Annual Report will be available starting August 28.   

AWANA: Registration is now open for children and youth age 3 to grade 12 that would like to be part of our AWANA program this year. AWANA will start on Wednesday, September 7 and run through until the end of April. Go to sgac.net to register today! If you would like to help at AWANA this year please contact Kari. 

Growth Groups: Information is now on our website. Check it out for answers to Frequently Asked Questions and more. Watch for more details coming the end of August about the exciting September 11 launch.

Did you know we have a new Youth Intern? We are pleased to welcome Lane Seely who is in his 4th year at Vanguard in Youth Ministries.  Lane started his internship with Pastor Josh this week and is a familiar face at SGAC as he has been attending here for 5+ years.

Giving Update

Weekly Giving  -  August 8 -14, 2022

Please note the following options for giving: 

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can  give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church.  This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards. 

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours. 

INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter. 

E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using give@sgac.net.  Please include your offering envelope number and contact information.  In the notes section please indicate how you would like your donation designated, ie. General Fund, Canadian Ministries etc.. The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question.  (This method of giving is not to be used for registrations.) 

IN PERSON
During office hours, you can stop by the church office and drop off your donation in a sealed envelope.  Mark it Finance / Confidential 

By MAIL / CHEQUE
