REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP UPDATE – SGACsubmitted an application in June 2022 to sponsor a
refugee family which was approved on December 8, 2022 & transferred to the IRCC office in Ankara,
Turkey to determine if the family would be granted a visa. Please pray that their visa would be granted
soon. The government in the country where this family is currently seeking refuge has started arresting,
detaining, & deporting refugees. Pray for God’s protection from harm and that He would provide all
their needs as they wait upon the Lord. Pray for the SGAC sponsorship team as they prepare for the
arrival of the family and help them resettle once they arrive in Canada. Pray for God’s provision as SGAC
provides financial assistance to the family for 12 months.
