Joel joined the SGAC staff team in June 2019. Joel works in many areas at SGAC and most recently has been working with the Refugee Sponsorship program of the church, bringing and helping refugees settle into their new found home.  He has his Master of Arts in Intercultural Ministries as well as Master of Divinity from Ambrose University.  He and his wife Lolet worked in the Middle East as international workers with the C&MA for over ten years.  Joel’s passion is to know Jesus so he can make Him known – to make the name of Jesus famous in Spruce Grove, Parkland County and beyond.  His vision is to see God’s children get involved in God’s work of reconciling man to God.  In his spare time Joel finds it relaxing to help on the farm, where he and Lolet live, in various ways. You might find him driving a tractor, herding cows or even helping cows who are having challenges giving birth.
