We love your kids! With youngsters being our fastest-growing demographic in Spruce Grove, we want to make sure that church is a fun and safe place for them to grow. We have many ministries geared especially for our children and our families.
Sunday School
ABOUT:
SGAC Kids Sunday Morning is our kids programming that runs alongside our regular weekend services at Spruce Grove Alliance Church. At SGAC Kids, we create a place where learning about God is fun and relevant for children. Using creative teaching techniques, contemporary music, and intentional shepherding we seek to be culturally relevant and age-appropriate.

AGE GROUPS:
- Infants and Toddlers – Birth to 2 years
- Preschool – Ages 3- Grade K
- Elementary – Grades 1-4
- Preteen – Grades 5-6
Sunday school:
9:00AM & 11:00AM
CHECK IN:
- Nursery & 2-year-olds check in at the nursery.
- 3-year-olds to grade 6 check in at the Community Life Centre.
Grade 5&6 Community Nights
Your grade 5 and 6 kids are invited to join us for these fun-filled nights at SGAC. Kids are encouraged to invite their friends. Grade 5&6 Community Nights typically take place every other month. Parents MUST come in to sign their child in & out.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Join us for a fun and exciting week each year in August as we learn more about God's Word through, fun activities, games, crafts, music, and much more!

Dates: Aug. 4-7, 2026
Time: 9:15 AM - 12:15 PM
Ages: 4-Years-Old through Going Into Grade 7
Location: SGAC, 250 Century Road
Cost:
- Early Bird Cost (May 5 to July 8): $45 per child/$130 for family of 3 or more
- Cost (July 9 to July 27): $65 per child/$190 for family of 3 or more

VBS Volunteer Opportunities:
Can you help? It takes a lot of moving parts and people to make VBS happen and there are many opportunities to serve on the team!
From Nursey staff, to Station Leaders to Kitchen Support to BBQ Sunday - We can find a spot for you!

Kids Baptism Class
Is your child curious about baptism? Would you be interested in learning more? At least one parent is required to attend the class with each child. The class covers the basics of the Christian faith, including a discussion of baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.

AWANA 2025/26
Wednesdays | 4:00PM - 5:30PM | September - April
- Spruce Grove Alliance Church offers the AWANA Cubbies, Sparks, & T&T programs for kids age 3 to grade 6 from SGAC and our community.
- Dates: AWANA runs from September to April. (Stay tuned for 2025/26 dates.)
- Registration is required.

We are in need of people willing to:
- Serve as Table Leaders:

- Help kids with bookwork
- Build relationships as they participate alongside a small group of kids - Lead music
- Share their testimony
You can volunteer weekly or biweekly. AWANA runs from September to April.
