Winter: Pressing into God
Here in Alberta, we have discovered ways to get along with winter, and if not, we go south. Many feel that winter is to be tolerated, however in the life cycle of a tree, winter serves some very specific purposes and these have application to our spiritual lives. This Sunday we will give you guidelines for determining if you are experiencing a spiritual winter and some of the spiritual disciplines that will open the door for God to move in your life during this season.

KEENAGERS Anyone 55+ is welcome to join us every Wednesday morning at 9:45 am in the Sanctuary or you have the option to join via Zoom. Join Pastor Joel for a time of teaching in the Book of Daniel, prayer & fellowship.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for volunteers to help out – Oasis & Reef post construction cleaning to re-open the spaces for ministry. If you are available & interested in serving in this way, please call the church office.
YOUTH RETREAT Grade 7 – 12 Join us June 18 and 19 for a weekend of worship, reflection, prayer and community building. Cost is $35.00 per person. Click here for registration and information.
YOUTH VISION NIGHT Thursday, June 10 at 7:00 pm. All youth are invited to join us for an opportunity to speak into our groups direction and identity. GRACE’S TABLE – JUNE 11 We all go through tough times. If a meal would be helpful for you or someone you know, Grace's Table would love to help out. DEEPER LIFE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY June 17 – 19 “The Crucified Life” with Dr. Sam Dyre. A study of scriptural self-denial. It helps the student to gain a greater understanding of the centrality of the cross and identification with the death of Christ as the means to a victorious life. Register with Pastor Coreen.
FAITH ON FIRE – A NIGHT IN WORHSIP Sunday, June 20 at 6:00 pm Join us for an evening of worshiping our King.
VBS 2021 Rocky Railway Registration is Now Open. All aboard August 9 to 13 from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm. On board activities include music, Bible stories, games and more. We will run in-person for age 4 to going into grade 7. Cost is $20 per child until July 21 and $30 per child July 22 to August 2. We will run within AHS guidelines with limited space available so register early. Click HERE to register today!
VBS 2021 Volunteers are needed to hang out with the kids as they participate in the various activities of the morning under the leadership of the station leaders. If you would be willing to help out August 9 to 13 please contact Pastor Coreen.

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church. This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards.
PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours.
INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter.
E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using www.sgac/Give. Please include your offering envelope number and contact information. The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question. Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section.
IN PERSON
