BANNERS INADEQUATE
God hears us and knows what we need even before we ask of Him (Matthew 6:8). God knew the hardships that the Israelites are going through in the hands of the Egyptians. God has a plan and commissioned Moses to lead His people out of Egypt to the Promised Land. God spoke to Moses through the Burning Bush (Exodus 3) but Moses felt inadequate to the big task ahead.
When God calls us to do something for HIM and for HIS glory, we sometimes feel inadequate for the task that He is calling us to do. We feel like we don’t have what it takes to do the job and miss the opportunity that God is giving us to see His power to do great and mighty things. We need to remember that we are loved by God and He is calling us to be His hands and feet to the hurting world. God is with us, He is our God Immanuel and he promised not to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrew 13:5).

DESIGNATED FUNDS TRANSITION With the completion of the Community Life Center, the Board of Elders is transitioning how we fund further future development while recognizing other needs that raise significant challenges. On October 31, 2023, the current Future Development Fund will be closed and new donations after that date will be designated to a new “Building Fund”. This fund will be disbursed as most needed towards:
- Current CLC Debt Principle
- CLC Mortgage payments including interest portion if the General Fund is unable to meet payment.
- Future Development Savings for next phases of Long Term Plan.
- Savings for large building capital expenses that could not be covered by a normal annual budget line item.
Please continue to give to the Future Development Fund until that date.
