Empowered MOMS - MOMS Canada

Empowered MOMS offers single moms a safe place to be refreshed, build friendships, and strengthen faith while learning about parenting, finances, and emotional health. Join us on Tuesday mornings, starting Oct. 7 at 9:15 am at SGAC. Childcare is included, however, space is limited.

Fit Minds for Seniors (55+)
Date: Tuesdays, Starting September 23 | Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am | Location: Oasis Room | Cost: FREE
Facilitated By: Sandy Clarke - Recreation Therapist
Fit Minds for Seniors (55+) is a weekly group program designed for seniors who want to keep their minds active and for those who live independently but struggle with some memory loss.
The program is one hour long and gives the brain a good workout using a variety of verbal and written exercises.
No registration necessary.
GriefShare
This 14 week grief support group offers help & encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend and is open to anyone in the Parkland County area.

The holidays are challenging when you are grieving a loss. GriefShare's "Surviving the Holidays" provides encouragement, support, and valuable tools to help you navigate the season.

Keep Fit Exercise Class for Seniors (55+)
Date: Tuesdays & Thursdays, Starting September 23 | Time: 10:30 am - 11:00 am | Location: Oasis Room | Cost: FREE
Facilitated By: Sandy Clarke - Recreation Therapist
This is a gentle exercise class on Tuesdays & Thursday mornings, combining seated and standing exercises incorporating strengthening and stretching exercises.
It is designed for those who are independent seniors and those with mobility aids such as canes or walkers and can be adapted to those who use a wheelchair.
No registration necessary.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
**Starts October 4**
Dates: Saturdays, Weekly (Starting Oct. 4) | Time: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM | Location: SGAC | Cost: FREE
This outreach intends to make our Lord Jesus known to all! This group is open to all men of SGAC & their friends.
Join us, meet new people to share your faith, & connect. Let’s have devotions, share testimonies, & play some basketball.
MEN'S FLOOR HOCKEY
**Starts September 25**
Dates: Thursdays, Weekly (Starting Sept. 25) | Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM | Location: SGAC | Cost: FREE
Drop in for a game of floor hockey. Bring your own equipment & join the fun. This group aims to encourage people to bring members outside of the church & spark & create conversation.
This group is for ages 16+, due to the physicality and hazards of floor hockey.
PICKLEBALL (Sundays)
Dates: Sundays, Weekly | Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM | Location: SGAC Gym | Cost: FREE
Do you love pickleball? Are you looking to improve your game and play with others who feel the same? Do you have your own paddle and a passion for the sport? Then this co-ed drop-in group might be just what you're looking for!
All skill levels welcome.

SERVE SATURDAY (ANNUAL)

Serve Saturday is coming back in 2026! Every spring, SGAC comes together to bless our community through a morning of service—collecting furniture for Parkland NeighbourLink and cleaning up Spruce Grove parks in partnership with the city. Whether you're on your own or bringing the whole family, it's a fun and meaningful way to serve together.

Grace's Table & Grace's Pantry
At Grace's Table we offer a warm & nutritious meal on the second Friday of every month to those who would find it helpful. Registration closes at noon on the Monday before the meal.
