Grace Alone

Galatians 2:15-21

 Justified by Faith

15 We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; 16 yet we know that a person is not justified[a] by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

17 But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness[b] were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

Paul says, “What I am telling you is a fact (indicative mood). I have actually already been crucified by God with Jesus Christ (perfect tense). God crucified me and I didn’t do it myself; it happened and was completed in the past, once and for all, and never needs repeating (passive voice)."

VBS: SGAC’s first ever Live Stream VBS is coming Aug 10 to 13 for children age 4 to 12. Early bird rate is $15 for the first child and $10 for each individual child after until July 15. Cost from July 16 to Aug. 6 (or while supplies last) is $30 for the first child and $10 for each individual child. Online registration is open now and includes your VBS in a bag package. SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY CLASS Pastor Steve will post a video to the Facebook group each Monday. Watch the video and take notes at home. Join us Thursday evenings on ZOOM to discuss. This will be a time to share questions, thoughts and ideas. Please join us on our FB group, SGAC Apologetics Ministry where you can find all the details, including the meeting ID and password for the Thursday evening get-together.

ONLINE GIVING
Whether it is a one-time gift or you would like to schedule a recurring donation, you can  give online to Spruce Grove Alliance Church.  This option allows you to give using a Visa debit card or the traditional Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING
Pick up a pre-authorized debit agreement form from our church office or download one here. You can fill it out and then with a voided cheque - you can either scan it and email it to the office, or drop it off during regular office hours.

INTERAC/DEBIT
During office hours, you can drop by and use the INTERAC/DEBIT machine at the Welcome Centre, then fill out your donation envelope as normal including your name, address, giving number and insert your debit receipt so we can disburse funds as directed in the Box on the counter.

E-TRANSFER
Use E-Transfer to give at SGAC, using giving@sgac.net Please include your offering envelope number and contact information.   The money is deposited directly into the church account and does not require a security question.  Please also include your envelope # if you have one and your phone number in the note section. 

IN PERSON
You can stop by the church office and drop off your donation in a sealed envelope.  Mark it Finance / Confidential. Please call ahead as Office Hours are by appointment only.
