Jesus Prepares the Church for Battle
Just as soldiers are trained for battle through disciplines, so also the church is prepared for battle spiritually through disciplines. Ephesians 6:10 - 18 identifies areas of our lives that need to be disciplined if we are to be “strong in the Lord and his mighty power”.
As you read this passage, what spiritual disciplines do you identify that work to prepare you for spiritual conflict?
