THE COASTAL BOUNDARIES

What can the coast tell us about the nature and character of God? This is a place where the sea meets the land. What did the sea represent to the people of Israel? What about the land? Take this opportunity to reflect on the landscapes around us and how they can serve as sign posts into deeper things.

Do you not fear me? declares the LORD.

   Do you not tremble before me?

I placed the sand as the boundary for the sea,

   a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass;

though the waves toss, they cannot prevail;

   though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

Jeremiah 5:22

GOOD NEWS - We heard from the district office on Monday that the District Executive Committee (DEXCOM) approved our request for financing. Hallelujah!!  This on top of the permits received from the city allows us to continue with the building plans.  With the shortage/delays of some building supplies we ask you to pray with us for God’s timing.

YOUTH HANGOUT – 7:30 – 9:30 pm Tuesday July 6 at Jubilee Park.  Check out the SGAC Youth Facebook page for more details.

SCRIPTURE STONES – We look forward to breaking ground for the new addition at the end of July/beginning of August.  Before that happens- we need your help!  Each family that calls SGAC home is invited to submit a scripture stone that will be placed as part of the foundation of the new building.  You can use a rock from home or pick one up from the church (pile on the east side of the building).  Use paint or a sharpie and write down a scripture verse that God places on your heart.  Click here to indicate your participation in this exciting kick-off for our new build.
