THE MOUNTAIN TRAILS
The Landscapes that Shape Our Spiritual Lives
Climbing a mountain is not an easy task. It takes a lot of commitment, strength, resilience, will and determination. Mountain trails could be misleading at times so we need a good guide will help us reach our desired destination. Let me share with you three things I learned while climbing a mountain:
- We need a change of heart, a different perspective that will motivate us to go.
- We must not walk alone. (Ecclesiastes. 4:9)
- We must speak life.
It is important for us to know who God is and who we are to gain new perspectives in life. Even in the midst of difficulty; we have hope in Jesus. Jesus said in John 14, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” Jesus went ahead of us to prepare a place for us. And what a glorious day that will be when we are united with Jesus. I could have been in heaven with Jesus right now but God gave me another chance, a chance to tell others about Him.
